Grab a cup of tea and have a seat. Don’t worry about Roux, he doesn’t bite. Usually. I’m glad your here. I hope you like what you read. I write, and talk, with a southern accent. What does that mean? Well, I don’t say ya’ll on a regular basis. It does means iced tea is served nightly and the biscuits are from scratch. The days are hot and the nights are hotter. Manners are important but shoes are optional. So come on over and have a look around.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog and choosing to follow along. I do occasionally still say ya’ll, even though he took the girl out of the South to the Pacific NW. I do love iced tea and from scratch biscuits, and I make my own gravy! Think we could be friends, maybe even related! I also write and you can find my blog for that at http://sherreymeyer.com.

    • If you can make scratch biscuits and gravy you’re something special these days. Once Southern always Southern, you can’t take it out of a girl. Funny thing, we spent our honeymoon in Oregon. We loved it. So beautiful.
